RWF 55.5 Remote Monitoring
The Siemens RWF55.5 is a compact universal controller designed for precise temperature and pressure regulation in industrial applications, such as burner control systems. It features integrated Modbus RTU communication via an RS-485 interface, enabling seamless remote monitoring and integration with Remforce controllers. Through Modbus, users can access real-time data including process values, setpoints, alarms, and operational statuses without physical intervention at the device. Once you are pulling data from the RWF 55.5 you can set up all your alarm notifications for any of the Modbus parameters you are monitoring.
To implement remote monitoring of the RWF55.5 via Modbus, the controller must be configured with a unique Modbus address (ranging from 0 to 254) and appropriate baud rates for reliable data transmission. With the new ModRM platform, you can configure Monitor multiple RWF’s by adding them as slaves. You can then configure all of your RWF 55.5 register data you are monitoring.
